Namiseom isn't bad. You can take the subway there.

Insadong for browsing, coffee shops, lunch and mybe if itme, catch a movie at the cinamatheque (they have international films), then hop a subway / bus / taxi to Namsan fora nice mellow scenic hike with a really good ambience and a beer or two at Seoul tower at the top.

Very Happy

ya you can take the gyeongchun line. it connects somewhere on line 7 if i remember right. although, to be honest there may be buses that get you there quicker depending on where you're located in seoul.

I really enjoy going to Suwon and walking around Hwaseong Fortress. Take a train or subway to Suwon station, then a short cab ride to (if memory serves--double check!) "Hwaseong Jandae"--the highest point. It's a very pleasant and easy walk from there--you don't have too much uphill. Very easy day trip from Seoul

Come to Yeuju and visit the tomb of Great King Sejong. After that you can para-glide around the two bridges over the South Han river. Yeuju is also world-famous in Korea for making finest-ish quality porcelines.
