Every public school has its own lunch payment system. Some require you to opt in or not for the whole month but some have you record your actual number of lunches eaten (honor system). Some may go with cash payment, others have you make a monthly transfer, & others again may ask you to accede to automatic bank deductions (& they'll tell you beforehand how much each month). Thats the easiest, really.
If you're thinking that your public school is out to drain your account, go to dictionary.com & look up "paranoia." |

Not always and not necessarily.
Authorized deductions from a bank account happen all the time and its nothing new. As long as consent is given by the account holder, its perfectly fine. |

Thanks for all the replies. I can see now it's something others have thought about.
Like I said there have been no issues so far.
Also, the lunch cost at my public school is very reasonable and I have no objection at all to paying for that. |
