Just started disc 2 of Living in The material world.
Man 'My Sweet Lord' is a brilliant song and up there with anything John did (I don't really rate Paul, post beatles.) It would, for me at least, be better without all the krishna references etc as I am just not religious. But i guess without his religious inspiration he wouldn't have been able to put the feeling into the song that he did.
Anyway, religion aside, a great docu that has made even me think about what I put out into the universe etc, as well as being generally interesting for anyone interested in that period and music. |
