Hi All,
A quick question.
If a teacher worked at a school and didn't pay pension and then moved to a new job where pension was compulsory, would the pension office demand a lumpsum back-payment, or agree an installment repayment method over the course of the new 12 month contract.
Any experiences or insights would be greatly appreciated. |

Pension won't do anything unless you make a fuss to get the contributions from a past employer. If you try to go after your previous employer they will require you to make up all of your back payments before they will go after the past employer.
NHIC (medical) on the other hand WILL chase you down for back payments dating from your entry to Korea on your current visa.
