I have an interview for the Cheongdam-dong branch in Gangnam on Thursday night. I feel extremely lucky for this location and hours (afternoon... no kindie) given the current situation with jobs. Can anyone tell me a bit about them? Good and bad experiences? Thanks.
I had the most disastrous hagwon experience you could possibly imagine last time around and I can't tolerate that happening again. Since they are a big corporate school in Gangnam, I'm sure that it wouldn't be any of the same problems I experienced with my small, dirt poor, "half-priced" hagwon in Chuncheon but ... still. You gotta be cautious.
Thanks again! |

I work at a different YBM. They are a stable school. You will 100% get your severence and your ticket home. But it's hard work! You definitely work for your money! Sorry I can't be more helpful! |

i'm okay with working hard as long as i'm working within the contracted hours, getting treated with respect, not cleaning the bathroom or vacuuming the hagwon twice a day, and not getting screwed over monetarily. |

I sent you a PM. I had a bad experience with them, but it was probably just the school I was at. The job itself was pretty easy and you always get paid on time. |

Did you end up going with YBM or get any feedback on it? I'm about to interview with them. |
