|
|
Hello everyone. I want to tell you about a website my boyfriend and I created for the assistance of waygooks and Koreans in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do looking for good, non Korean places to eat. The address is www.thealienbank.com
There are all kinds of restaurants on there: Indian, Italian, Greek, Mexican, Russian, Khazakh... There is also a section for vegetarian and vegan friendly restaurants.
We would really appreciate it if you could all take a look at it, share with your friends and leave some reviews. It would be great if we could collect a database that would be a valuable resource for foreigners in Korea.
Oh, and make sure to "like" our Facebook page! |

I'd really like to check out your site, but can't be bothered because you can't be bothered to actually know what the term Waygook means.
Seriously, can people stop bastardizing that word? |

I don't see what was wrong with the OP's use of waygook ... It just means "foreign," right? Should she have written waygook-in? |

It's a nice start but, while I do respect the choice not to eat meat, I think you need a few non-vegetarian reviewers.
Oh, and random dumb ignore-me criticism: I hate the name. Makes me think of little green men, not restaurants. |

Taco Chili chili in Garosugil got 7 STARS?!?!??!?!
That was the WORST Mexican I've ever had in my entire life.
The Nachos, 10,000w, were store bought round tortilla chips, pace picante salsa, some sour cream and cheese on top. I could've made the exact same plate of nacho's at a family mart.
I got the fajita burrito and it came with sides of a salad, and sweet pickles. No rice. No beans. That was like 12,000w.
Worst Mexican ever, and the guy gave it 7 Stars because it had a good Vege-Burrito. |

Yes. I'm often pretty critical of Konglish in Korea (not so seriously, but not a big fan of it), and I don't see why we need to butcher that word as well.
As to this site, I'm sure it'll get better as more people contribute with a variety of tastes. |
