Was just wondering if anyone knew of any Korean sites apart from Danawa for browsing through laptops. I'm planning to buy a new laptop in the mid-high gaming range and while Danawa has a lot of good options around the 1~1.5 mil mark, I'm just wondering if there are any other sites to explore out there.

What I know so far Danawa has the greatest price than others.
If you would think to get a mid-high gaming laptop, in my personal opinion, you would probably like to choose

HP-DV6 6183TX or ASUS N55SF those item will take around 1-1.5 million won.

There's probably no real point in browsing somewhere other than Danawa because Danawa includes all the main electronics vendors in Korea. They're all there. Danawa is just a convenient way to search for what you want.

Yeah, I figured Danawa was best, but I was just wondering if there were any other options a bargain might be tucked away in.

While I'm here, does anyone know anything about the Hansung Bossmonster line of laptops? For hardware, they seem far better value for money than any other (for example, i7 and Radeon HD 6990 for 1.5 mil) and though they're kind of ugly, I'm wondering if there might be some other catch to them.

I've got a Hansung Netbook. All other specs being equal, it was the same price as a big name brand 1 gig of ram, 160GB hard drive netbook for a 2 gig ram, 320GB, 7200 RPM hard drive rig. It's been running straight for nearly a year on my coffee table and has crashed maybe twice. The hitch being, I guess, that it came with no OS and zero software short of some windows drivers for the hardware. I put XP Black (a pared down, crap-removed, not legal but much better version of XP) on it and away I went. I tried a few different linux builds, but no one's kernel supported the track pad or web cam. I've never had to use their tech support, so I can't speak for their reliability, but their shit seems solid.

There were no driver problems for XP. It was Eeebuntu, SuSE and Mint Linux builds that didn't support the hardware. Windows 7 wasn't available at the time and updating it now just seems like a pain since it's working fine anyway.

And if I upgrade my netbook to Windows 7, then I'd no doubt end up upgrading my desktop too. I'm sure everything is better in Windows 7, but I've got a pretty complicated mess working just fine and would rather not have an undoubtedly frustrating few days of getting all my files transferred over, software reinstalled and wireless network set back up.
