To change interface languages you need Windows 7 Ultimate or Windows 7 Enterprise. Display languages can be added and installed in Windows 7 with MIU (Multilingual User Interface) or LIP (Language Interface Pack) language packs.
In my experience using language packs can work, but Korean font still pops up in different places. I would prefer a completely English language installation.
I posted this for people who are currently using Vista or XP and want to upgrade their O/S without buying a new computer. For example I just bought a new computer and had my licensed English version of Vista installed. I am now thoroughly sick of Vista and want 7.
This company also delivers anywhere in Korea. |

I bought my computer with Windows 7 Home Premium K... I ended up finding a program called Vistalizator to put English into it, since I didn't want to buy Ultimate Edition just for language change.
Everything works except Windows Update, and even for that, I can switch back to Korean, and Windows seems to happily update itself anyway...

Don't pay a dime for this. Windows 7 keys aren't language-locked. Buy your laptop, download a free and legal English install image for the same version from Microsoft. Enter the key on your laptop (or Korean Windows 7 box) and you're good to go. No language packs; no extra charges. |
