| Plenty of ladies here that will not mind your height. |
I truly hope there is truth in your statement |
A few tips....
If you meet a girl you like, buy her small gifts of food or whatnot. If she seems receptive, ask her out. If you do go out, call or text her after to make sure she arrived home ok. If you really want her to be your gf, tell her so EARLIER than you would here. Korean girls want to know your intentions, and they are used to what Americans would call borderline obsessive/stalkerish behavior in men. Being more direct about wanting a relationship will also separate the ones who are happy to enjoy your free English lessons and attention as long as they can.
If you have established that you like each other, and have not been given a chance yet, try to kiss her on the 3rd date. When she refuses, try again a few mins later. They often put up what I used to call the "3 no front." Depends on the girl. Some will be easier. Others impossible.
Lastly, if you have a girlfriend, make sure she will go out Fri, Sat, Sun with you for two consequtive weeks before you can believe that she is only dating you. |

Alternatively, unless you fancy being stuck in Korea forever, or having an SO who is miserably unhappy and culturally adrift anywhere that is NOT Korea, you can avoid K-girls like the plague.
I mean, after reading swampfox's description of the necessary actions [I don't doubt at all the truth of what he's saying] WHY in the world would anyone have any interest? Stalker-ish bahavior? Expected. 'Check-in' texting? Required [don't think that'll stop after a few weeks or months...ALWAYS]. At least 50/50 that all she cares about is foreign attention and/or English and/or free dinners and/or gifts? Absolutely. At least 50/50 you're the backup to someone else? Yup. Need to do a bunch of BS posturing in order to kiss her? Oh yes ['I not that kind of girl! I NICE GIRL!!' ]
What are the upsides of this again? |

I'm willing to take the risks necessary here. Upsides? No idea. I'll figure it out and get back to you
And thanks for the sites for the job fairs. I will check those out. |

Dating a great girl right now, and none of the bs in his post was expected. No stalkerish behavior, no checking in, she pays for my meals sometimes or we go dutch, has told her family about me etc...lol @ generalizations. |

Been with my K-girl for 14 years now, 11 married, and none of the crap described above happened but hey you go right ahead and generalize about all Korean women based on ONE post in ONE thread and on your ill-conceived assumptions. |

| OP - You need to go to an International School. I am currently student teaching at one so I can be certified to teach Social Studies and ESL in the US. The difference between international schools and universities, hagwons and the public schools in Korea is night and day. You can be a real teacher in an international school with real teacher benefits. If you choose the right one, it can be an amazingly rewarding job. Check out International School Review on Google. I recommend you sign up and check out the reviews. |

I'm guessing you haven't been with too many Korean girls. |

| You are a dude that's five two? Your chances of landing a decent chick are less than zero. |

Thanks, fella... Just the reassuring comment I was looking for. Sad thing is, you're probably right. |

Don't sweat it. As long as you are only one of short, fat or bald, you should be ok. |
