Good fight. Good stoppage. I am happy for Cotto, although I saw some flaws in his game.

I don't agree with both points. There are plenty of match ups for Cotto at 154. Canelo, Kirkland and as Arum mentioned, Chavez. All have the potential to be good fights. Martinez should be mentioned as well. I doubt Mayweather will fight Cotto or anybody under Bob Arum.
I don't know which fights you been watching but your last sentence could not be more wrong. In his last few fights Mayweather made a point to walk his opponent down and be the aggressor. The guy threw the most combinations against Mosley and Ortiz ever since he went to 147. As for Cotto, the dude made a career out of pressure fighting. How is he not a stalker? |
