We have a swap every two months in Jamwon. It's always the second Saturday of the month from 2pm to 4pm. We've been mentioned in 10 Mag and the Korean Herald. You can see the articles in our docs at our Facebook page.
Women's, men's, children's, and baby clothing and items will be available. Other items such as shoes, bags, accessories, appliances (we've had ovens, blenders, rice cookers and more), coats, books, and more have shown up in the swap. Everything's free and all leftover items will be donated to charity in Korea, Cambodia, and Sierra Leone.

Nope, but I can copy and past the info here. Let me know if you have any questions.
Sat, Jan 14th. 2-4pm
A great way to clean out your closets, get new things, meet new people, and donate items to charity. Men's and women's clothes, shoes, and accessories are welcome. We also have a baby and kids' clothing swap here, http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_151729844899047
Place: ICA Church, Jamwong-dong #57-1, Seochu-gu, Daelim Sanga 2-210, Seoul. Address in Korean: 서울시 서초구 잠원동 57번지, 잠원대림상가 2층210호
Take line 3 to Jamwon station and then go out exit 4. Walk straight for 50 meters and at the road junction turn left. Walk 150m and you will see a building on the right with various stores in it. ICA church is on the 2nd floor.
Here's how it works: Basically you bring your stuff and in return can get other things for free. Any leftovers items are donated to charity. We've donated to the Beautiful Store, Teen Challenge, and sent boxes to Sierre Leone, Africa.
Please bring: Since ICA is so generous to provide us with space as well as food and drinks, I think that we should try to reciprocate. It would be nice if we could either donate (maybe 3000 or 5000 won, which is what a coffee would cost you) towards the cost of food and drinks. OR, bring our own food and drinks to share. The church is close to lots of things, such as a Kim's club, GS market, and a Crown Bakery.
Feel free to bring a friend or two. Hope to see you at the next event! |
