My employer and I have both mutually decided that I should go. I complain all the time and hate my job/living situation as has been dicussed in another thread.

They have agreed to give me a letter of release but I do not want to sign another one year contract. I would however be interested in doing a winter camp before leaving to make some money.

My last day at work is December 30th so there are several camps that start up around early January. Will the LOR allow me to work these camps? Do I just need to do a visa run to make this happen? I am American so getting a new FBI check is out of the question. Any advice on this would be great, thanks!

Have you considered asking your present school to just let you work at the camp? Sweeten the deal for them some how? If not, I think you will need to do a visa trip. You would likely go from E-2 to C-4 (?). IF you have already done a Federal Check then I think maybe immigration might let it pass. But it would be best to double check on that.

Go to immigration with the new employer's particulars.

IF they are a legal camp (properly registered business) then you can do a change of employer to the camp and then again if you want to stay in Korea to work (or not, if you want to leave at the end of it).
