Often true, especially when it comes to Chilean, Californian, and Australian wines. However, I've never been disappointed by the cheaper Spanish table wines on offer at E-Mart and Home Plus, even when they've been as cheap as W5000-6000.

Really? I think the cheap Spanish & Italian wines are awful. OTOH, I think the 10,000 won Chilean, OZ and SA wines are fine.

Costco is selling a 5L SA box wine for 26,000. 14% ABV. good bang for your buck.

Best to try a few different ones and go back for the ones you like.
