Home computer users were warned about a new virus which launches an automatic attack.

Most viruses rely on the user double-clicking on an attachment sent with an e-mail to infect the computer.

But a new virus, called Netsky-V, is rare in that it starts to infect the computer after the user clicks on the subject line of the e-mail just once.

interesting that you don't have to open the attachment... dangerous too.

Everyone should sweep with a variety of security tools regularly. If a virus resists the standard tools, find out it's name, and download a removal tool specifically for that virus ...

Nice one kiwiboy - you may have saved my life. This is the second time I've buggered the only computer at the hogwan. I have been getting loads of emails (seen a post on it) with no titles, mostly they get filtered into my junk mail but some get through. I do delete all of them but.........when i first started getting them I think I may have clicked one. Confused
