Hi everyone. I am coming to Korea in only a few weeks, having found a job in the public school sector (Yep, at this time of year!) I'm going rural, in a town south of Daejeon and Daegu.
I'm bringing my two small birds. Getting the vet stuff and documentation worked on now. But obviously, traveling to Korea with a large cage will be impossible, so I'm gonna just have them in their tiny travel cage. I know I'll need to buy a cage within my first few days, but I've only found one bird store online (Seoul area) and it has no listings for bird cages, only bird food. Maybe it has cages, I don't know. But I'd love to know if any of you know of any bird shops in your towns or cities. |

It has been a long time since I was in Daegu, so vague (and possibly out of date) directions, sorry. The area where the two subway lines meet has a large roading intersection; follow the street going slightly up hill (behind the catholic martyrs church) and you will find bird supply shops (if you see a lot of Buddhist knick-knack places you are on the right street)
In Daejeon there is a bird supply shop near the main Daejeon train station. Cross the road in front of the station, turn right and walk a 100 metres or so and you will come across it (it is a very small shop with caged birds outside). |
