Almost anyone reading this who's in my age bracket is probably a bigger fan of M*A*S*H than I was. I never appreciated the humor as a kid, and when I FINALLY got around to watching the movie(in Korea, of all places) I thought it was passable at best. And I don't think Potter was even in the movie.

Anyway, from what I remember, Morgan played the role competently enough on TV. I remember that he was also in an early episode(possibly the premier) of Married With Children.

He was also in After M.A.S.H.

He also played Officer Joe Gannon in the redux of "Dragnet" from '67-'70.
Also in a lot of post WWII westerns

Great voice!!! He was in the Oxbow Incident an all time classic, one of my favs. Consistently good in every part he had. R.I.P.
