I have to get one of these and just wondering if anyone knows how long it takes?

A few minutes. Walk into the police station, ask for it and show your id card, wait a minute or two for it to print out, that's it.

What?!

Really?!

At home it takes a few weeks as they have to look through the files to see if you've been up to any mischief.

Have you actually got one before? Great news if that's true!

I went into a tiny little local cop shop and asked for one, they said that I needed to go to the main branch of the district, so, a cop drove me there, walked me around to the various desks and then drove me back to where we started. Including the taxiing, it took 20-30 minutes.

Ok thanks guys,

I have found out since I last posted that I need to get it translated by an official translator.

Anyone know where I can find one of those or how I can go about finding one?
