So I recently purchased this cell phone, but have not been able to find any cases for it. I would like to protect my phone just in case I do something not so smart and I'm shocked that even though not very many people own this phone yet, that Samsung's cutting edge, flagship phone doesn't have accessories! If anyone has any information on where I could get ahold of one, let me know, please.
Thanks |

You could try going to the main stores of one your carriers. Like for KT, they have a big store with accessories in Gangnam. Not sure where other service centers are. |

I also got mine from LG. The guy at the store gave me a case for free.
Edit: BTW, awesome phone huh? |

I have a Galaxy S2, and I've found that a case was quite unnecessary. I've dropped it numerous times (and even accidentally kicked it around a few times), and there was no visible damage. The perks of having a phone made of "cheap plastic".
I assume that a Galaxy S2 LTE isn't that different. Have you thought about going caseless? |

It's a nice phone, but I can't seem to find cases for it because the body is different than the basic S2 (camera and flash are aligned differently, speaker on back is in different location, etc.). I was given a bright yellow silicone case when I purchased the phone, but i'd like to see other options, even if it's just other case colors of the same type. This is probably just vanity, but it is what it is and I refuse to believe that Samsung doesn't offer any other cases for this flagship phone. By the way, I have been going caseless and so far so good, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Thank you for your replies! |

@ galaxy s2 hd owners: how much did the phone cost? or how much did it add to the plan itself? I need to upgrade my phone to a smartphone, and considering either picking up someone else's iphone 4 contract or getting a galaxy s2 hd phone and starting a new contract. |

@LG I'm paying 72,000W a month for the first 3 months with 20,000W discount for the first 3 months. The phone was free up front but costs me 13,000W a month. After 3 months, my plan switches to 52,000W a month, so I'll pay 65,000W a month for the rest of my contract.
The additional cost + discount thing is a promotion they were running, so it gives me 6GB of data, 450 minutes, 300 texts, and some other stuff to start. Then it drops to 2.25GB of data, 350 minutes, 200 texts, and finally to 1.5GB of data, 300 minutes, 200 texts. I've been off wifi the entire first month of having this phone and have sent many songs to my coworkers as well as watched a couple hour-long path of exile dev walkthrough youtube videos, and so far I have not cracked a gig of data. Tethering to a computer seems like financial suicide, but if you want to, the LTE is fast. Keep in mind that it works best on larger files rather than smaller ones, so you'll download a few 4MB apps and watch it go slowly, but if you get a 60MB file you'll see it fly. |
