How should i inform recruiters that i have already accepted a job offer with another recruiter? I dont want to come off sounding rude, after all, i never know when i may need to use them again.
Second question, i accepted for a recruiter to schedule a phone interview between the school and i. but, after doing some research and overlooking at the job descriptions (i.e. lack of pension, teaching hours), i have decided i dont want to work for this school.
So when should i reject the school/job offer? Should i wait till knowing if i have been accepted and until i see the contract to tell the recruiter i dont want to work for them?
Or should i just tell the recruiter to cancel the interview? and if so, should i say why? (i.e lack pension, high tax rate etc)? |

If you were a recruiter, when would you rather find out? As soon as possible, or after wasting time scheduling interviews and contacting schools?
Just send them an email. |

wait for the contract. Some places don't mention it in the initial interview or job description because it is so common place that everyone provides it.
The tax rate for example could be them adding regular income tax with health insurance and just calling it tax, etc. sometimes there English is really bad, especially contractual language.
JUst have the interview and talk to former/ current employees. That is the best way to gauge the school. I personally kept all my options open until i sent in my paperwork.
Just tell the recruiter you accepted a better offer when the time is right. They hear it all the time. |

Say a friend has to go home because of a sick/dying relative. You would take over their job.

Then you haven't accepted THE job yet. Keep your options open. Your comments contradict each other based on premise. You say you have a job, and then later you don't. Please explain if I am misunderstanding something. |
