|
| To any people who happen to be Floridians and were wondering about this - I was at the Apostille office in Tallahassee two days ago and I asked them if they'd Apostille an FBI check despite it being a federal document. They said they would. I'm not sending it to them because I have friends in D.C. who could walk it in for me and I'd rather be safe than sorry, but so far no one has had a problem with immigration about it so if you'd like to do it then go ahead. The office in Tallahassee will do it for you. |

| No problem. It got pushed back a bit. But it had been on the first page of this forum for quite a while. Probably the rush has passed, or others are playing it safe, too, and sending the CBC to the DOS. |

| I really doubt that it would be a problem with immigration. I don't think they fully understand our governmental system and the difference between state and federal governments. To a certain extent they have to in order to institute the FBI check over the state check, but I doubt they understand 100%. It's still easier for me to send it express to D.C. and get it done properly than to drive 7 hours to Tallahassee. I went to FSU and no amount of that driving done in college made it any easier, haha. |
