| The best pizza I had was in an Italian restaurant in Gwangju funnily enough. Very close to the traditional Italian type. |

| This is a question that every expat food blogger seems to have a opinion on - I'd search around the google machine for some of them so you can at least get some ideas. Take what you read with a grain of salt, though, as there have been widespread allegations that the bloggers are bought and sold by the owners (i.e., the expat gets a free hot meal in exchange for a positive review). |

I would put Pizza Maru in the same category. Their pizzas dough is a little unique, so some like it and other don't, but their price is from 6000 won and upwards.
For me Pizza Maru is number 1 and Pizza School number 2, but their menu and prices are almost identical. |

| If I'm craving pizza, but can't be bothered to make it or trek to Seoul (and it's not a Thursday) I vote for Pizza Maru. The place near me knows to leave off the corn when I order. |

| La Tavola in Itaewon, just outside of exit 2. It has real wood-oven pizza without corn or any other stupid crap on it, real mozzarella and real tomato sauce. It's the closest I've found to real Italian pizza outside of Italy or the USA. |

I went to Yum Thai, near Sinsa Station, a coupel nights ago and it was pretty good. A little pricey though.
I think the large (not medium) pizza at Pizza Heaven is pretty good. They deliver throughout Apgujeong/Sinsa.
All the Italian restaurants are pizzarias there will be your run of the mill Italian places. Nothing that'll blow your socks off. |
