Read something about a place called "Frisbee" but that's it......my Ipod's battery has decided to die on me and not entirely sure where to take it.

Thanks

No official Apple Store. There are Authorized Apple Resellers that honor Apple warranties and sell apple products.

Frisbee is one of them. Concierge is another. There are a few others I can't remember off the top of my head.

There are official Samsung stores that look like Apple stores. Laughing Laughing Laughing

There are authorized Apple resellers. If you go to the Apple website you can find a list. Very few of them speak English though (I think the Frisbee Store in Hongdae and the A# store in COEX are two of the view that do).

Or you can always look on here for "Jack Daniels" - he fixes Apple products cheaply if you're no longer under warranty.

In my hunt for the Nano I wanted I visited stores in Daehakno, 2 in Jongno, Myeongdong and Yongsan. Someone spoke English to a reasonable degree at all of them, and with the exception of Yongsan they aren't really high English-priority areas. Maybe random rather than "offical policy" but I'd say it's a there's a reasonable chance of finding someone who speaks English at any given store.

There is an "apple repair shop" near my house in Sinchon. I took my ipod there and he said he couldnt fix it for more than the cost of a replacement because of the water damamge but just a new battery might be better. If you want to know where it is you can PM me. It might be cheaper than the more official repair places.

Also, I just ordered a refurbished Ipod nano from the official apple America website. Comes with the same warranty as a new one and cost about 30% less. Just ship it to a friend in the US and have them mail it over.

There are various Frisbee stores in Korea. Here's a list of them http://www.frisbeekorea.com/download/eng-frisbee.jpg

I took my broken ipod to the Frisbee store in Gangnam (at the end of the main street, underneath Dos Tacos). They gave me an old replacement for a lower price.

The Concierge store on the main strip in Itaewon (same side as hamilton hotel) has an English Kyopo who works there.. he's been there the past two times I've been in. It's always been in the evening that I've been there so he may only work in the evenings.. it's out of exit 1.. pretty hard not to miss..

Just noticed there's an Apple store -- maybe a Concierge store -- in Beomgye too.
