What does this mean? That, given another two years you'll have come to like your ex-coteacher as well? Nay, maybe love??

Are you upstairs or downstairs when you have these wayward thoughts?

Clearly it means he liked general life in SK, liked his students but did not like his co-worker.

How could you possibly read anything other than that into it?

There you see now hey fromtheuk, you've even got a fellow Brit coming to your aid, you being unpatriotic and all.

OP - I respect your honesty. Everybody is entitled to their opinion.

If the work environment is an unhappy place, it makes the whole Korean experience more negative.

Sorry to jump in on the op's thread.

fromtheuk....you mentioned that you are doing an MA at Nottingham.

I am curious about your thoughts on the program so far. I am thinking of
attending Nottingham next fall.

you can pm if you like, or not Smile Or just update your old thread.
Any reflections would be most appreciated !

Check your pm TeacherinDeajeon.

Thank you The Floating World, I think our fellow poster shifty has problems understanding the written word.

Careful with the sarcasm. May be taken as blasphemy. The wrong person reads that and the next thing you know your head is no longer attached at the neck.

Yeah, it's a pity we have to be bullied around like that. Take it as a very, very modest stand.
