Does anyone know where to find apple cider in Seoul? I've been in the mood for it these days. I like the alcoholic stuff but I'm thinking more of the spiced American version.

Any help would be much appreciated!

It should be in most grocery stores, I get mine in Emart, usually around the sauces and oils section.
Called 사과 식초.

Some ideas,

First, you could try to make it yourself. The hardest part was rounding up the ingredients, but that was mostly because of price.

Second, at High Street Market in Itaewon, I saw a packet (or more?) of apple cider mix. The just add hot water type.

Finally, near where 3 Alley Pub was behind the Hamilton Hotel is a new market and they sell bottles of hard cider. Don't know the type nor the price.

Apple cider is ridiculously easy to make at home. Cinnamon, little cloves or allspice, sugar. Boil. Turn it into a thin apple sauce. Strain. Oxidize... Bottle. You can google how to do it.

Now. Hard apple cider is even easier. To grab some apple juice concentrate (look for the stuff with no preservatives... With vit c added... Or boil a lot of apples..) and the just add some sugar till its nice and sugary.. Throw in a packet of champagne yeast bam. Note: you need some sort of fermenter and airlock to do this, but it's so easy. I just finished a malted pumpkin ginger spice cider- took a week, cost 5$ for over a gallon.

Thanks for your help guys. I've thought of making it myself too, but I just don't know where to find cloves. Does anyone know where I could find that?

If you ever get to itaewon, you can buy some cloves at the foreign market. About a big one for 6 bucks.

Our local has Hunter's Dry and Hunter's Gold. I think they get from somewhere or someone in Seoul.
