Anyone know of a good English Speaking Dr in Gangnam? I know someone mentioned an OBGYN but I just need a normal Dr.

I've had good results at the International Clinic. When he recommended some vitamins awhile back I told him I'd try eating more foods w/ those vitamins. No issues.

The pill pushing "issue" strikes me as a bit funny. Korean docs are somewhat know for giving out the 5 day (or so) packs of Korean cold medicine. A K-coteacher of mine said they were little more than sugar pills.

A gyopo I know swore by the little multi-packs and said they cleared up his bad head cold in about 5 days. Coincidentally, that's about how long a head cold might last. What a miracle!! Then he relapsed anyway!

2. Messing up basic diagnostic procedures: e.g., when a patient presents with sore throat accompanied by white patches and fever you MUST test for strep. This can be done quite easily with a rapid antigen test that produces results in 15 mins. Strep is not something to mess with, as it can kill or leave one with serious long-term complications. Ever wonder why when you go to the doctor with a sore throat, the FIRST thing they do is take a throat swab?

LOL are you kidding? In the UK, if you have a sore throat, you're sent home and told to gargle salt water. The American love of medical procedures does make me laugh.
