I would be interested in your list jamasian. I've been trying to work with various recruiters and I don't know if it's anything to do with my race but none of them are really being overly helpful. |

That may be somewhat true, but some hakwons will hire you if you keep trying. You might have to be less pciky about location. But, I think decent hakwon jobs are out there to be found. |
Hi At first I wanted to teach in Seoul, but some of the recruiters that I've spoken with said it is very competitive. They told me finding a job in Seoul will be difficult because I do not have teaching experience. I have expanded my job search to Gyeonngi-Do. Is this still too narrow? I do have an F-4 Visa, but at this moment it doesn't seem to be very beneficial. I've seen some job posts that state E-2 Visa only. I have contacted many recruiters and continue to do so almost every day. Finding a teaching position is more difficult than I thought it would be. |

I don't have much experience with this type of issue, but a hakwon asking specifically only for an E2? Wouldn't that be trouble, meaning they want to exploit you? I mean if you're an E2, it's more difficult to quit and move to the next job. Just my guess. |
