Thats cute and a rote repetition of the mantra of you can keep going up and up in most other fields when in fact that requires you start in that field early on and pick a field that does offer advancement along the lines you outline.
Seriously, NO ONE gets into TEACHING as a career if they seek career advancement along the corporate ladder kind....if they did, they will be shocked soon enough.
All this being said, one can grow as a teacher, get better teaching positions, diversify what they do in Education and in many ways have a very open career in that field, far more than say 15 years ago for example. That can be done in Korea as well as somewhere else. |
