I have a question.
I know there is a 2 year exempt on taxes for government jobs. I worked for a hagwon for two years and paid my taxes. Came back to America for a year and am now going back as a pubilc school teacher. Will I get the tax exempt wages or will it be taxed?

You should be taxed.
You may not be taxed.
You may not be taxed and then get a bill at the end of the year since your tax exempt period had expired. (about 400k won per year).

The exemption is for the 1st two years on the ARC number (when you return you get the same number back) provided you met the requirements for the exemption.

If you are returning, your school may not know but the tax man will.

If someone was supposed to be taxed this year but taxes were not withheld by the school, is there an actual bill that is sent out? Or is it up to each person to calculate his own taxes and send them in? If so, where can we find the tax forms?

Talk to the foreigner tax advocate at the NTS.

http://www.nts.go.kr/eng/

downloadable forms are also available on the same website (menu on the left).
