Hi, first post here.

I'm trying to get some information on making an appointment with a physiotherapist with private or no health insurance. Does anyone have any personal experience with one? Can anyone point me in the right direction as far as some cache of recommended doctors and/or website(s)? Also, how much am I looking at in terms of cost, for initial and possibly recurring visits?

I've been meaning to rehab a lingering sports injury that prevents me from working out effectively, and am hoping I might be able to see one here.

Thanks for any comments, and please forgive my ignorance.

I know that WITH NHIC coverage I was paying 3k won per visit for physio (3x per week) at the "now sports clinic" in Bundang (Seohyun).
Costs are about double without insurance.

A co-worker had similar costs for physio after surgery for an ACL repair but went 5x per week.

If you go to an "international" hospital / clinic you can expect to pay substantially more (10x or more).

Don't get private insurance. It won't cover you out of the workplace. Just a heads up.

Depends which private insurance you get. Mine covers everything that the national health insurance doesn't cover, anything from a 450 000 won/month physiotherapy bill to the 1.5 million won I had to pay for surgery. I even received nearly 200 000 won for my medical expenses, no questions asked, when I was involved in a fender bender. If I'm injured and can't go to work, it pays me up to 5 million won per month. It really pays for everything.
