Hi guys,

Need to get a Korean Criminal Background Check translated into English by an accredited translator.

Anyone know of one in Seoul?

It's urgent.

There are a few translation offices located behind the U.S. embassy.

Ok thanks for that.

The US embassy is in Jongno-gu, yes?

But what exactly do you mean by behind? Is there a street behind the embassy that's parallel to the street that the embassy is on? I can only get a crappy satellite photo on the net. From google maps, it's hard to see where the front gate of the embassy is located.

Thanks again.

yes and yes.

When you get there you will see the "front" (armed marines and a battalion of riot police) and the road that goes behind (where are the buses are parked).

There is an official translation service in Itaewon just before the crazy burger. Take exit 2 and walk straight and it is there in like 2 mins on the left.

That one in Itaewon is definitely official/accredited?

If so that would be brilliant. And thanks to the other posters for the directions.

Any ideas how much it would cost?

Thanks Jonephant.

How long did it take? Was it done while you waited?

And any chance you remember the name of the company you went to and location, 1st Floor, 2nd Floor etc?

Thanks alot.

The translation took around 1 hour, the lawyers stamp about 5 mins. They are easy to find since some have english signs saying "translation" and all the ones i checked charged the same. I dont remember the name of the one i used
