I thought it would be a good thread idea for people to share computer and laptop shops at Yongsan where they got GOOD customer servce and not taken advantage of as well as some English speaking ability.
Not an easy combination to find there maybe

There are lots of them.
Just get away from Yongsan station.
Go across the tracks.

If you are looking across the tracks you can see the big blue building.
That is the "terminal" building. 2nd floor.
To the right of that as you are looking from Yongsan station you will see the gigabyte sign.
That is the Seon-in Plaza.
Go in the left door.
Prices are clearly marked at all the vendors.
System prices are in man-won (55 = 550,000 won).

I personally like J-tech in the Seon-in plaza but there are several I have dealt with and I have never had a problem using English (they all speak tech) or with customer service (including RMAs).

Any vendor accros the tracks will indeed provide excellent services.

I have used 3 different ones, and every time price, quality and service were excellent.

Well, Im not about to build a computer, just buy a new laptop

It may be a Toshiba which I assume will have Korean Windows. I heard the vendor can install English, however, do you get a "legit" copy of the English Windows they installed for future installs in case of viruses etc. ??

I don't know about Toshiba, but with Sony and HP, if it's Windows 7, it allows you to choose the language at first boot and install of the OS.
