Im just about to renew for the next year at my university and Im in the process of getting my documents together and sent to the FCO for the Apostil.

However, Im still confused about a few details.

Do I need two copies of everything, CRB and degree or will one suffice? If I need two do I have to pay extra to Milton Keynes?

Also I have a teaching cert (PGCE) does this have to be done too, at extra cost, or will just my undergrad certificate work?

Thanks in advance, apologies if these questions have already been answered, I've spent the last few days searching for the answers and keep finding conflicting info!

Cheers

Hi. I'm in the same boat just now. Waiting to get my replacement degree and CRC back before sending them off for the apostille.

As far as I know you only need one copy to give to immigration. Why would you need two?

As for the PGCE cert it's prob not necessary. As far as I know they just require the degree and criminal check. Any additional qualifications are between you and your university.

If the new rules are being enforced you'll need one copy for immigration and another copy for the Ministry of Education.

When are these 'new rules' being enforced? Are they a seperate set of rules from the new, 2012 onwards immigration rules?

It's not an immigration issue. I heard the rules are already being enforced in Seoul. There are other threads about this topic.

"MOE/POEs now require every teacher regardless of visa class to submit a national CBC. If you are a teacher or going to be a teacher, you will need to one on file."

Does anyone know if they(MOE, POE) will accept certified true copies of the CBC?
