Was looking at the CGV cinema website http://www.cgvcinemas.com/ and noticed that the Korean movies are advertised as English subtitles but does not say whether these are at selected cinemas.

Can anyone enlighten me as to whether the Korean movies advertised as English subtitles are at all CGV cinemas?

they used to do it here, but i don't think it was popular enough to warrant running regular shows.

there's a small theatre in sinsa that has a different movie showing once a week on tuesdays. i can't remember the name of it, but if you do some digging you might be able to find it.

CGV still shows some movies with Enlgish subtitles at the Yongsan and Myeongdong locations in Seoul. It's somewhat limited, not all Korean movies will be released with subtitles. And of those that are, there will only be a few showing each day that are subtitled.

For example, "My Way" is currently showing with English subtitles at Yongsan CGV. "My Way" has eleven show times tomorrow. Of those eleven, only three will include English subtitles.

You'll have to check the schedules before you go.
