It's the FBI who you're sending the prints to.
Korean Immigration wants the FBI official seal on the CBC.
The FBI won't put the seal on if you don't request it.
All you have to say is something like: "I need the FBI official seal on the CBC because it is required by Korean Immigration"
Just type that up and attach it to the application form--the application form asks all about demographics, so you don't need to put that on your request for an official seal. |

Does anyone know how long an FBI CBC is good for?
I mailed everything for it, but now a certain opportunity has come up, and I may just delay any plan for Korea until next summer.
Thanks! |

| If you do send to the State Department in DC for your Apostille. Do not use USPS use FedEx. Us mail can add an additional 3+ weeks to your wait due irradiation. |

I can't say how helpful all these posts are!
I have two questions of my own to add, if you don't mind:
1. Does anyone recommend getting 2 CBCs in one run? Is it possible to ask for two at once, and would that even be necessary/helpful?
2. I'm going to Korea with my partner. Can we ask for two DIFFERENT CBCs in the same envelope or do we have to send it separately? Does anyone have any experience with this? |
