|
|
I am planning to do a visa run to Bangkok within the next few weeks to change from an e2 to e1 visa. This will be my first time doing a run to a country other than Japan. Im presuming the process will be similar to that in Osaka ( arrive at embassy before lunch , submit documents, wait overnight then collect the new visa in the morning) can anyone on here confirm that the Korean embassy in Bangkok operates like this?
Also if anyone has some suggestions on places to stay that are located near the Korean embassy in Bangkok then that would be appreciated.
Help appreciated and thanks in advance |

Nothing much has changed other than the price of taxis has gone up and traffic is worse.

Thanks ttompatz
I did check the link you provided prior to making my post. Just wanted to make sure nothing major had changed in the 3 years since that thread was started |

It was almost 2 years ago to the day when I did it, so my advice might be a little outdated...all I can really say is that you should definitely take a taxi because walking from the metro station is a little tricky and time consuming.
Also, check the Thai holidays, my visa took an extra day to process (which wound up costing me a whole weekend b/c I had to wait til Monday) b/c I wasn't aware of the holiday. |
