Talking about whether you like condoms or not is like discussing whether you like wearing a crash helmet when riding a motorbike. No matter how good it looks or how snug it feels on your head, you'd always rather have the wind rushing through your hair (ooh er...). The wearing of condoms while having casual sex isn't mandatory yet but if it were possible to legislate for it you can bet it would be by now.

Christopher Nolan's Batman movies, rather than Tim Burton's. I think Jack was a better Joker and Michael Keaton was far more interesting as Bruce Wayne than Christian Bale. Danny DeVito as Penguin was also fantastic.

Let me board that train. Nolan's approach to Batman bores me to tears.

The whole fixation with making everything 'dark' is just so uncreative and is rather played out now. What's wrong with some humour and kitsch?

Fortunately, there is always room for expansion on that bandwagon...and hopefully it will continue to expand exponentially as human intelligence does.

Dogs--
I don't hate them, but I don't get excited by any means at the thought of them.
They smell, slobber, and require A LOT of care and attention.
For dog lovers, I'm sure this is no problem--good for you.
But for me, having to schedule my entire life around how often I have to walk the dog--No Thanks!!

I guess I should mention I just finished dog sitting for a friend of mine.

It's my vacation, I want to sleep in--can't, gotta walk the dog.
A friend invited me to go to a pension overnight--can't, gotta walk the dog.
My boyfriend scored tickets to a classical concert performance in Seoul--it's a 3 hour drive, and we'd have to stay overnight--Well, I did go, but it was a major pain in the ass to find someone to take the dog for just 1 day! AND I had to pay him 40 bucks!

The dog is very sweet, and he has a lot of energy--but never again!

Jazz, Belgian beers, and the yuppified pretentious food culture that's ever present in my hometown. And cars. Id much rather be driven than drive and prefer public transportation to owning my own car.

Quentin Tarantino movies. With the exception of Pulp Fiction, I have found his movies to be tedious, pop culture pastiches with more style than substance.

I forgot about Tarantino. I can't stand his movies, and the fact that everyone thinks they are so great makes me hate them even more. Your description is spot on. I would add "self-indulgent." Pulp Fiction was decent, but still really overrated. I think Tarantino and his films will be totally forgotten in fifty years.

I think the Batman movies are overrated too, except I don't really like any Batman movies. In fact, I really don't like superhero movies. Add that to the list. I could never understand why people thought The Dark Knight was the best movie ever made. Batman is at least watchable, if not very interesting, but I would rather stare at a wall for two hours than watch stuff like Iron Man and Spiderman.
