BBQ Chicken FOR SURE. I am from the American South and I STILL claim that BBQ chicken in Korea is the best fried chicken I've ever had. |

BBQ's Chicken strips are good.
Fried Chicken I like KFC Original Recipe. I like the saltier taste of it.
For Korean chains, I like Two-Two or Bordaram chicken. Kyochon is pretty damn good too.
There's a local place near my home that does a whole deep fried chicken without cutting it into parts. Absolutely delicious. |

치르 치르 or Chir Chir is my favourite. They have roasted chicken as well as some very tasty deep fried chicken with cashew nuts, spring onions and baby chilli. Their beer is also very good compared to regular beer. I think their beer is actually just normal Cass, but they apparently serve it different and it taste much better. They claimed to do something with the CO2, but what is for sure is that it's served very cold.
EDIT: Including link:

Top left one is my favourite, but the roasted chicken is also very good.

For delivery, I really like BBQ.
If I'm going to sit down, I'm a big fan of Fry Pan, though they're generally only found in more upmarket areas. |

BBQ and 굽네 are both good, but expensive, 17,000 for one and no deals.
돈치킨 is a recent one I've found, and a common franchise. Very good quality and while one is 15-18,000 they do a 2 portion deal for only 20,000.
Full potions, not a half and half or anything. |

The Fry Pan is my favorite. A bit on the expensive side and the bastards raised the price again (from 14,900 to 16,500 or sth). If you order their chicken+salad combo though, makes a nice dinner for two. |

This is why younger Koreans are getting chubbier. lol Well at least they can't mock westerners anymore.
But chicken, pizza, and beer are the things to be cautious to avoid. I've fought my weight since been being here. So, I've had to be careful. |

+1
These have been popping up everywhere in the past year. It is a really good variation of the regular fried chicken places.
Their prices are high though. |

God, I love Korea fried chicken. It is the best chicken I've ever tasted. I always like the plain fried/super crispy the best.
Man, I can't remember the best place's name though, but its like 12k for a huge basket of chicken plus only a dollar for an unlimited coke.
The place across the street is like 15k for a small basket of chicken that wasnt even that tasty and they charged 2500 won for a small can of coke (no refill) I hope they go out of business. |

Oppa Dak (Seoul) or Okku Dak (Busan) is among the best. Their wasabi mayo sauce is the bomb!
Beer Can Chicken has the tenderest roasted chicken. It just melts in your mouth.
There is so much great 치킨 out there!
Mubanna (촌닭) in Busan is worth checking out. The 닭갈비구이 is really good but pricey.
Buffalo Chicken has a good spicy chicken with noodles. 냠
For the cheap stuff in my neighborhood the 시장 has fried chicken breast filet for just 5000!
The only places I really don't care for are Two-Two and the Chicken-Baengi places because the birds are too skinny and I don't think cinnamon should be in the batter. |
