Made fresh, from scratch, and then frozen?

I mean, I like the general idea, but I'm not wild about microwaving food, if I don't have to. Still, this seems like a tasty option. I'll have to give them a go next week.

Wonder where they get their ingredients. Now that I can get TB I don't see much need for this but could be good for those out in the sticks. Also wonder what kind of visa they have .

The big question is how is the salsa? That will make or break it for me.

Can't really see the point of this. You can make good Mexican at home for a 1/3 the price.

Laziness? Also, considering how confined many of the kitchens are here, I can understand when people don't want to put the effort in to cook (and I'm someone who really enjoys cooking). When you live in a 100 square foot apartment, using your bed as your prep area becomes something of a necessity.

Meh, I dont really think so. You can make them cheaper at home, but I dont know about 1/3.

Ive cooked Mexican food here before, and it is very hard easy, but it is not that cheap to make salsa from scratch and get all of the cheese, meat, beans and tortillas that you need.

They are selling 10 burritos and 2 pints of salsa for 55 bucks.

I doubt I could make that (IF they are large, big IF here) for less than 35-40 bucks. And, it would probably take me 3 hours.

Either way, I will give it a try next week and report back.

I think this country's very much in need of a Chipotle. Maybe not in the overpriced junk form that Quizzno's has become here but in it's original form. Although I'm not sure Koreans will be able to get the concept of choosing what goes in your burrito.

Plus I highly doubt you can get half the ingredients you need here at a reasonable price outside of Itaewon. I can't even get risotto rice here.

I don't live in Seoul, yet I can get beans, tortillas, and cheese at a reasonable price at my local supermarkets. This wasn't true a year ago, but new products show up all the time.

Lol, would be exactly like Subway here.

Ever see a Korean go into Subway for the first time? Pure comedy.

I've ordered their chicken burritos, sausage burritos and chili. It was all REALLY good. My friend tried the breakfast burrito and salsa and also really liked it.

Speaking of which....I think I need to order some more.

I've had all of their stuff except for the veggie burrito. I've tried the chicken burritos, chorizo burritos, bacon breakfast burritos, salsa, and the chili and have not been disappointed once.

The burritos are big. I'm not a small guy, and I usually eat half a burrito at a time (with other sides of course). Of course, my friends eat a whole burrito, so that all depends on you.

I've probably had thirty of the burritos so far and, like the previous poster, I'm planning on a new order soon.

Do they freeze well? I don't think I could go on a week long burrito binge.

Yep. I've left them in my freezer for a month or more and they don't lose any of their flavor. I mean, they're delivered frozen, so you're not really losing anything by leaving them in a sub-zero condition!

You've got me. They're pretty friendly and might be willing to tell you if you asked nicely.
