Come to think of it, could it be why so many Muslims run convenience stores in America that stock Twinkies? They're probably trying to bait us into their shops and herd us into the back by stocking Pabst Blue Ribbon beer in the rear cooler so they can suicide bomb us with their snack cakes!

7-11 is just one number off from 9/11...

Quick, what's the number to the Department of Homeland Security?!

Nail clippers are allowed as carry ons, as are razors (for shaving). Don't know about swiss army knifes. The water though? Yep, still banned. There is a reason that only the US continues to have a liquids ban. Freaking stupid.

Look people, if I were a terrorist and I intended to blow up a plane with a gel-like explosive, hiding it in plain site as the icing on a cupcake is genius. Almost as genius as hiding it as a liquid in a water bottle.... oh wait, they already did that.

You have to remember, there are still crazy people out there, trying to find any hole in security possible to carry out their bat sh*t crazy plans of Jihad. Literally, people sit around all day just thinking of ways to bomb or take down planes. Remember the shoe bomber and the guys that hid explosives in ink printers on a cargo plane? Face it, we never saw that coming and only got lucky someone didn't get killed. It never occurred to anyone to check that. We are constantly a few steps behind these guys. Hiding in plain site is the new norm.

And as far as these far right wing nut extremists wanting to just strip search any brown skinned person with a beard or turban - again, if I was going to blow up a plane, I'd find the most nondescript, white, middle of America looking person possible. I'd have him shave, get a clean haircut, wear some nice khakis and a polo and fit the stereotype of every cheesy white person ever. He'd skate through security and wage havoc while everyone else was paranoid about the Muslim guys in turbans.

It's so cliche, but really, think outside the box.

And climb inside your absurdly paranoid one? No thanks.

+1. Weso's thinking explains how DHS is so damn huge these days: all those paranoid people out there in the world.

When I left Korea I bought a cup of coffee AFTER I went through security and they made me dump it out. So now when you fly out of Korea you can only have as much liquid as the stewardess says that you can have. Stupid.

TSA would be wise to adopt the Japanese security screening, seems like they follow most of their procedures anyways
