Ron Paul and his organization have no class. Watch the video, whether you agree with him or not about the reporter he, along with his people, handled it poorly.
First everyone complains that he can't get coverage, and when he does they complain about that. |
Seriously, that's the best you can come up with? If you're so interested in "class", maybe you should vote for the candidate with the nicest shoes? |

Not that it really matters because Ron Paul is not going to win the Republican nomination let alone the presidency. He couldn't even win in Iowa despite (at one point) being the highest ranking candidate. |
Got another Intrade millionaire over here, lol. Pulling 21% out of the social conservative State was solid, and better than McCain managed in 2008 |
No Intrade here...just common sense. |

Class in the sense of acting with dignity, what does that have to do with shoes? |

The real question is of course how that completely unremarkable video has any relevance whatsoever to political matters. It doesn't. But hey, if you're so hung up on such superficial things, I guess you'll just vote for whoever has the most convincing smile, or reads best from a teleprompter (ie. Obama). |

Class is making private contact with those voters whom the media prevented the Paul campaign from meeting with publicly. I'm sure you'll be happy to know that that's exactly what the Paul campaign did
Paul had scheduled to meet with voters publicly earlier that day. When there was too much media present to allow that, he arranged to meet privately with the frustrated voter described above but blew off the massive media that was present. So while NH voters are getting what they want, media personalities like Bash here got all pissy and had to make up a story to pay Ron back for standing them up. |

Which completely overlooks that fact that in that video he, and especially his staff, acted with no class, and for a presidential candidate that is an issue. The idea that he can meet every person is absurd for a major presidential candidate, which makes sense because he is very new at being a major candidate. First there is no media coverage and everyone complains about the establishment holding him down, and when they give it to him, they are keeping him from the people. Also this is one of the stupidest stunts I've seen a politician do.

Iran is suffering from crippling sanctions related to their flirtation with nuclear weapons development and stemming from their obfuscation with UN inspections. Since you can't bomb someone from developing nuclear weapons, Obama is doing pretty much everything that can be done. |

Obama signed the NDAA, but at least when he abrogates our Constitutiona rights, he shows class!
Nobody is voting for Ron Paul because he's some rock star with a lot of charisma. He gets testy on the campaign trail because he's genuinely upset with the mainstream media. Its easy to relate. |

Indeed. Here's that "reporter" stating that she's "worried" that Paul will continue on beyond New Hampshire. Isn't it a conflict of interest to pretend to present unbiased journalism while interviewing a candidate whom you're "worried" will continue past the next primary? I'm surprised the Paul campaign even agreed to speak to her after what she said in that link. |

An argument against Paul isn't one for Obama. Just saw the video and it reminded me of how unlikable Paul is. I don't like Paul for a lot of reasons as a politician, this is me saying that I don't see the gentleman that his supporters see. Every candidate has a reason to be upset with mainstream media, every candidate has to deal with them, and figure out how to do so with out literally poking them over and over again. This and things like taking money from white power organizations and speaking to the john birch society and its ilk make me think that in a way he might make it easier to ridicule and marginalize the things he is right about.
A lot of things that Paul says needs to be said, but please can we have someone better to say it. Gary Johnson is dorky, but I'd be happier with him as the spokesman against the war on drugs, and against war in general, but my god can we please have a candidate who is interested in civil rights, good, peaceful, foreign policy, ending the war on drugs, not corrupt, with out the libertarian states rights and economic baggage. |

The thing is, nobody really cares if you "like" Ron Paul or not, as it's totally irrelevant. Better to stick to relevant issues, like his platform or his nearly perfect legislative voting record spanning back decades.

He kept the money from the founder of storm front among others and is involved with far right organizations. I do not personally think that Paul is a racist, but it makes it easier to marginalize the things that he is right about. I agree with him on lots of things, but probably for very different reasons, and I do not want someone like him to be the champion for those ideas because it makes it easier to paint those ideas as crazy. Ron Paul, if he is a serious candidate should care if someone like me likes him, as I suspect that many people have a similar view of him as I do. Like I said before I disagree with lots of his platform, so for me, and most people, his voting record isn't perfect, if someone always votes no than of course he will be right a lot of the time. |
