any advice?

someone told me that i should buy the "cat passport" found on http://www.pettravelstore.com/ to read all the requirements, but i found this http://www.pettravel.com/immigration/southkorea.cfm, and i imagine it tells me everything that the other passport would tell me, except i do not have to pay for it. anyone else know of any other requirements, or have any recommendations or warnings?

let me know!

also, i am thinking of having my cat sedated, in order to reduce stress/fear from travel. thoughts?

Korea is putting new regulation on animals for importation. They just postponed them about a year. I'll try to find the links later.

Don't sedated your animal before flying. The cat will get stressed from it too. Our cat adjusted in a week or 2 and she gets stressed very easily.

finally got some good info, from the gov:

a valid health certificate and a rabies shot that has been in the animal for at least 30 days

As long as you follow the guidelines and time-frames for bringing an animal into the country, you won't have to worry about quarantine. The most important of these things being the new rabies shot and the USDA certification. In all actuality, it is a pretty easy process, but it is majorly stressful. I have the rabies shot and a microchip (not required, but good for ease of mind.) Next, I will need the certificate (went to a vaccination/microchip clinic instead of my vet.) Thank you all.
