|
|
After two years of pushing my students to stop trying to get high TOEIC and TOEFL scores without really learning English, I'm giving in. I've tried to be enthusiastic and inspirational as well as create innovative new ways for them to improve their sentence construction skills and grammar, but they don't give a flying you-know-what so here's to just collecting a pay check, 2012!
(It's raining cats and dogs but I don't feel blue. I'm in a good body condition. Not drunken. I just take a rest, will PREpare...AT THAT TIME) |

Come in here, dear boy, have a cigar.
You're gonna go far, you're gonna fly high,
You're never gonna die, you're gonna make it if you try;
they're gonna love you.
And did we tell you the name of the game, boy
we call it Riding the Gravy Train. |

I wouldn't call it lowering your standards.
I'd call it giving your customer what they want. |

Actually, what the customer in Korea wants, is to never have to show up for classes, never do any study, and never take any tests but still get top GPAs and a degree.
And some of them actually get it.
