Funny post!! yeah I get a laugh when told that am wrong about something that i have done for years and take as second nature sometimes even given a lecture . I am sure with your experience this fiasco of a recipe did not surprise you. My favorite was when I was told by a Chinese professor that I did not understand English very well because I had not had systematic Chinese training. I told him he was a idiot, and that sent him scrambling for a dictionary. Good story , in the end it was fun for the kids and thats what really counts.

They should just be honest and rename English Camps to Babysitting.

Perhaps you can teach Korean children to respect the PB&B by adding some hot sauce to it. However, you don't have to tell them about how we wash it all down with chocolate milk. We will keep that delicious secret to ourselves, along with rice krispy treats and s'mores. We can't take the chance that they will mess with these sacred recipes. It would destroy western culture as we know it!

My kids LOVED smores. I told them if they changed the recipe even one bit, I'd add licorice to their kimchi jjigae.

Photo finish, at best. The most astounding thing about that is that she actually had the ingredients cooked in advance and delivered by the restaurant next door to the school. How can you mess up something that is, let's face it, basically a mess anyway? I now know.

I just spent a full minute trying to come up with a clever pun involving "bibimbop" and "mess"...and failed. However, please rest assured that I have followed this thread with the greatest of amusement, my pun-less-ness notwithstanding. |
