Hey everyone,
Recently moved to Jeollanam-do province. I'm planning on going to Gwangju either this weekend or the next. Does anyone know of any foreigner friendly bars or restaurants? Thank you |

There are two that I know of: Speakeasy and the German Bar. Well, there is also Seoul Train. Then, there is a nice Mexican joint named Tequilaz. It does have a bar, but it's more of a restaurant now.
There is a kind of night called Bubble Bar. It's got loud music, lots of foreigners. Speakeasy and German bar are more of your Western style bars. As far as food, during the weekend, there is the First Alleyway restaurant, and they have Western food. Across from it is a Filipino store/restaurant. At the Western restaurant (The First Alleyway), you can get poutine, souvlaki, fish and chips. On Sundays from 12 to 5 they have breakfast. |
