I need to send a fax ASAP.

Where, generally in Korean cities, can one pay to send an international fax?

I think your best bet is a Fed Ex Kinkos.

For me that would mean going into Seoul, to Seocho (55 minutes)

So, if there's something more generally located in Korea than FedEx / Kinkos, it would sure be helpful.

If you have skype and a scanner, you can install PamFax and fax from your computer. Just saying, one way. Best of luck.

You don't need a Kinkos.

Most mom and pop copy shops will send a fax for you.

Good idea. What are these shops called in Korea? I can't recall noticing one in my area.

(asking so I can search for a local one in Naver)

Lot of schools, especially universities, attract those shops nearby. They usually have the Korean word for Fax painted on the window: 팩스.

If a shop has 복사 or 출력 chances are they also have a fax machine. Like others have said, they usually have plenty near universities, but there should be one or two in random neighborhoods as well.
