Does anyone know if something changed when you send your fingerprints to the FBI for a background check. I have sent my prints over there two different times since the beginning of December. I'm next expecting to get them back so soon but I would at least think that the money would have been withdrawn from my bank account.
I sent them to the WV address on the FBI website. Should this be taking that long for them to take the money? Any input would be helpful. Thanks |

| I don't imagine they would take the money out until they actually get to and process your CBC. I'm actually in the same position as you, I sent over my prints back on Dec. 15th and have yet to be charged for the CBC, so I assume they are just taking their sweet time. |

I sent mine out on the 8th of December and still no funds have been withdrawn.
Another guy I know sent his a week or two before me, and they have not withdrawn funds from him as well.
I think it is because of budget cuts and many other people doing the same thing. |

You'll probably have to wait a few more weeks.
The FBI received my prints on November 25th.
I got my prints back January 10th (and I used a money order).
7 weeks total. |

They rec'd my prints Dec. 12th. I didn't notice when they debited my bank account.
I just rec'd the completed FBI CBC Today , Jan. 20th ... less than 6 weeks !!!
I emailed my US Congressman Wed. morning & I got my FBI CBC 2 days later (I provided them with a pre-paid priority mail envelope when I sent my prints.)
But damn! how about that ??? a congressman helpin' out the little guy for change.
