That seems rather unrealistic. What provider are you using because you should have around 100 just from using the pacific pipeline. A 50 ping to the east coast should not be possible for any service. |

| I dont know where to find the pings. But I chose a west coast server. no real latency issues. |

Level 34 Sith Sorcerer on Darth Sion.
I'm specced healer, and one of my RL friends is specced tank, and we've been 2-manning flashpoints with companions. I would highly recommend the healer/tank 2-man combo since you gear up really fast not having to split rolls with 2 other real people.
As for solo...solo is pretty easy so I don't really know if it matters what you do there or not. |

My old SWG guild is on Basilisk Droid..
We have both Imperial and Republic guilds set up, although we're pretty small at the moment.
Could do with some folk playing in K-time, if anyone's up for it.. We're mostly folk from the UK, but we have a few Scandinavian-types and a 'Mercun or two.. |

You're all spread on different random servers.. Why in the world didn't you guys roll on the one of the 2 unofficial oceanic servers?
PvP - The Switsure
PvE - The Harbinger
Prime time Auzzie / NZ / Asian servers!! Easy to get groups and lots of people on at our times! Plus both of these are at full capacity and no risk of becoming ghost towns any time soon. Both are US west coast for the best pings also. |

The game is cool, but the graphics are still subpar.
I was looking at my shadow and the shadow kept changing despite me not moving at all.
Anti-Aliasing, now enabled with patch 1.1, does nothing. I turned it on and there is no smoothing. |

I'm on a Euro server with my old guild from SWG.. Not had any trouble with grouping etc, yet.. |

The recently implemented AA doesn't work for AMD cards. (known issue) It's also set to way low, even on highest setting it's only 1XAA. If you want good AA (like 4x or 8x or 16x) you have to edit the game's ini file.
It's easy and works well. Lot's of people doing this since beta.
Find it here:
My Computer -> C -> users -> (you) -> app data (it might be hidden so un-hide that folder) -> Local -> SWTOR -> swtor -> settings -> client settings. (open this file)
Change the value after:
AntiAliasingLevel = 1 to what ever you want. My GTX460 has no fps issues at 8.
Save the file and boot up the game. Enjoy way better looking graphics. |

| Has anyone had any trouble patching the game after the most recent patch? I was working fine until 1.1, and now I can't patch the game at all. I've tried repairing and re-installing, but nothing. The Launcher just sits at "Launcher Updating. Please wait..." and the log is full of "unable to contact reliable source." |
