As the title says, but other nationalities are welcome.

I don't like organised religion, so forget AIM etc, I'm not
interested!

I'd like to get together with other believers! discuss future
Bibical events etc and preferably those who are married to
Koreans, like myself!

Cheers!

You might have more luck if you ask for Celta worshippers on here *laugh*.

But I sincerely wish you the best in your search.

Christianity is dying a death in the UK, there aren't many of them around at home never mind abroad.

Threads about religion are not permitted.

I'm not asking about religion! I'm asking about believers, and considering that threads have been allowed concerning sexual persuasion and "are there any Muslims around?".

I think I am more entitled to ask, if there are any believers around, if of course this offends anybody, then I'll be more than happy to meet them face to face, to discuss this, as opposed to esl cafe.

My point being, I simply want to get together with other believers who are interested in Biblical prophecy and so-forth. Not get into an argument about religion.

End Of!

If you are British, you should join AFEK. That site is full of Brits. In fact, I think the majority of active members are Brits. Not sure how many non-Brits are still posting, but I can assure you that a great many Brits are there.

It would be an excellent place to start looking for other British individuals for friendship.

As a rule threads discussing religion are verboten, forbidden, especially if a post that deals with a religious related news item is used by posters to then wholesale attack a religious group and all its members i.e. they use it as an excuse to clothe their bigotry behind whatever excuse.

Anyway, we're going to decide what to do with this thread. It's not appropriate to criticize faith or comment on how Christianity is not a thriving faith or not in England. That entails inviting a religious discussion. That's not the answer he's looking for or what we're going to accept. Either you know the answer or you're the answer for the OP, leave him alone.

We're removing a couple of posts that are not needed in this thread for now. It's true someone also asked recently about Muslims somewhere. No, we're not trying to be biased for any faith, and we can't see everything, and we have to make judgment calls and see how fair we can be while protecting the site and the majority of members.

If you're an American, British, Canadian, Irish, South African and of his faith contact him. It's that simple. The rest is not really needed.

Ok. Great. Now I can talk about the inconsistencies of the bible because it's not about religion. It's about the bible. Not religion. Definitely not religion.

In university, there were many courses offered on popular works of fiction. One of the more notable ones was Bible Analysis. It focused on the inconsistencies of the fables and the divergent writing styles. It was an interesting course.

As the OP is looking for Bible discussion...then by all means...have at it.

I'm a Christian so I can't fault the OP for looking for other believers...but why so specific? You'd prefer they're over 40? and Brits? and married to a Korean?

Are you looking for someone who's thoughts you can anticipate before they even speak them? What food would you prefer they like? Should they be into Hungarian folk music and 16th century china?

You can ask:
"Are there any other 40 year old skiers?",
"Are there any other 40 year old skate boarders?",
"Are there any other 40 year old Christians?".
"Are there any other 40 year old Kyopos?"

Let's meet up and have dinner, coffee, chat, etc.

Seems to be what the original post was.

No TOS issues there. Welcome to the general forum.

I actually agree Tom. I don't have an issue with the OP's post. I think he/she should be able to talk about religion if they want. But to try to distance talking about the bible from talking about religion is a bit of a stretch for me.

The bible is the de facto manifesto of Jesus Christ. Christianity being the religion which it is all about. The Mods have banned threads on religion...........I wish they didn't. I think it's healthy to debate religion. For everyone concerned. Believers and disbelievers.

Maybe you mean that the OP has only suggested forming a group to discuss biblical stuff. Which, again, is cool with me. But the mods have banned threads about religion. Which I think the OP's post is largely about.
