There is always one.
Ok...."dies" a poor choice of words for your apple-shaped heart? How about charge holding then? The truth is more than out there. Apple batteries drastically reduce their charge-holding time after almost a calendar year from the date purchased. This is confirmed by many iPhone-using friends (4, to be exact) and my 2 kids who have iPods.
Awaiting..."no problems for me" again in 3...2...1... |

I knew what you meant, but what can I tell you? My battery still seems to be performing well after all this time. But if it makes you feel better to pretend I'm some kind of fan-boy go right ahead. I just did about 90 minutes of video on skype on the iphone and only ran off about 20% of the battery.
Apple seems to indicate that after 300-400 full charges you can expect to lose about 20% of capacity. |

theres always gonna be exceptions both sides of the fence can quote but jumping to iphone 4s from galaxy s i can say catagorically my battery outlasts 2 batteries of the galaxy s. i doubt this is true of the gs2 because i think the 1 generation was Samsungs experimentation model in the field of true high end smart phones and had alot of teething problems.
now with the galaxy s2 they seemed to have it nailed. but 1 thing i never caught onto until owning a iphone is its not about battery or camera or screen size or cpu or benchmark result. its about user experience and apps and in this respect iphone wins hands down. thats for me personally im sure its different for others. it comes down to what you value. |

Had a 3GS for 2 years. 1 year, 11 months after using my 3GS battery wasn't draining any less than people with Iphone 4's.
Battery performance DOES degrade over time, as with all rechargeable batteries. What I'm saying is that after almost 2 years of full use, my 3GS battery draining wasn't as "dramatic" as you suggest. |

Same here. Had the 3Gs for almost two years until I got my 4s. Battery still lasted all day just like when I first got it. Generally the same usage pattern. I guess I'm surprised that it didn't lose a noticeable amount of capacity. |
