Thinking about buying a tablet, but not sure which one. The obvious choice for many would be the ipad, but that would mean being forced into doing everything Apple`s way, and foregoing flash. However, if it could be jailbroken then I might consider it. Other options are the Galaxy Tab series and the Asus models. Also, is a 10 inch screen a bit too big?
Opinions, please. |

theres a guy selling a brand new 32gb blackberry playbook for a good price in the BST. I would recommend you check it out. i love my playbook. flash and html5 are native to it.
also, next month they will be releasing a new OS for it. you can run android apps best of both worlds.
ps. im an apple fanboy but i wont touch an ipad. |

If you have to buy a tablet now, and want Android, then get the Transformer Prime. If you want an iOS device, get an iPad 2. If you can wait for a few months, don't buy anything until the iPad 3 comes out and see what that is like. |

1.Is flash really out of the question on an ipad? I use it to watch some sports streams, so it is useful.
2. Will the Playbook be able to run android apps natively, or will it be via an emulator?
3. Is it better to go for a 10 inch or smaller? The larger version might be a pain in the butt to carry around, but it would be great at home. |

If you're going to get an Android tablet, go for the Transformer Prime. It does seem to be the best of the bunch.
Are you sure that you can't watch the streaming video on an Ipad? I have no knowledge of this but I am curious because they may have it in HTML 5 format, not flash.
The best advice, wait till the ipad 3 comes out and read reviews on all tablets. I like going through engadget or gizmodo. |

You can watch streamed tv on Ipad. You can even setup your own streaming to your home comp. Get plex or Airplayit. Stream anything even music from your comp to your Ipad. |
